A Word About the Wood

There are many varieties of wood.  Here is a sampling of the varieties of wood which Wooden Celt Creations mainly uses for carving projects:

• Most varieties of maple
• Ambrosia maple when available
• Butternut
• Poplar
• Mahogany

However, we are not limited to only those listed.  We do not work with exotic woods due to their density and the large amounts of silicates present.
